Robert Rodriguez continues to cement himself as the One-man savior of the action-movie genre with this red band trailer for his upcoming Mexploitation splatterfest Machete. I'm pleased to warn you: this trailer is DEFINITELY NOT safe for work!!!
If he never did another movie after Desperado, it would have been enough to put him in the constellations in my astronomy book, but Rodriguez just knows how to have fun making movies. His love for comicbook-character-come-to-life Danny Trejo is reason enough to hold him in high regard, as far as I'm concerned... and now Trejo gets his long-awaited starring role in this pulpy revenge tale, which debuts on September 3rd.
sweeet!

"I mean it's not safe for me for you to be here"
Awesome.
Cheech should have been mentioned in the credits, man.
I saw that 'rappelling from a bad guy's intestine' on Dead Snow a couple of weeks ago. That had some inventive gore, but a total lack of Danny Trejo.
LOL!
Stunt double FTMFW!
Using the guy intestines as a rope . . . CRZAYY!! (yes, I spelled crazy correctly)
That's definitely a must watch film.
JEAUH!
you know, this is looney enough that it just might WORK!
