Looks like John Stewart was born again HARD in GREEN LANTERN CORPS: FUTURE'S END #1

So apparently the DC Universe is going through a cataclysmic war or something, and time-traveling is involved... NO WAIT! STAY WITH ME NOW! Yeah, I don't know... But I like John Stewart. So there's that. Look, just check out this preview of Green Lantern Corps: Future's End #1...

DAMN, DAMN, DAAAAAMNNNN!!!! or IN STORES NOW- GREEN LANTERN CORPS #33

If I was gonna buy a DC book these days (and I'm not saying I would), it would be Green Lantern Corps! I mean, that dude Bernard Chang's art got my man John Stewart looking like a boss, plus he's getting biz with Fatality! That said, if you're planning on copping the trade of this, you definitely want to skip this preview on some SPOILER ALERT isht...

Drugs, black on black violence and abusive parenting? Hey kids, it's BATWING #33

Here's another dope Batwing cover by Dan Panosian. Looks like Bats got into Kaneda's stash again. So anyways, Batwing #33 introduces a new villain into the new 52 Batman rogue's gallery. Peep...

IN STORES NOW- THE MOVEMENT #12 by @GailSimone and Freddie Williams II

My dude Dwayne sent me copies of the first few issues of the New 52's youthful revolutionary comic The Movement after I wrote an excited preview post.  I really enjoyed 'em. Here's a preview of The Movement #12...

PREVIEW- "BATWING #31"

This cover for Batwing #31 by Dan Panosian is sick. Neither Batwing nor Dan Panosian appear in this preview below, but it's still worth peeping.

HOLY CRAP! I have been TOTALLY SLEEPING on THE MOVEMENT!

I don't really pay attention to DC that much since the so-called "New 52" reboot, which is the only excuse I can give for knowing absolutely nothing about The Movement, the story of a grass-roots vigilante resistance in the DC universe. I'd still be clueless if this cover for #5 by the born-again hard (and GhettoManga contributor) Dan Panosian hadn't caught my eye. But let's back up and check out some previous issues...

Green Lantern John Stewart + Bernard Chang on art = HELL! YES!

Check out this fabulous preview art from Green Lantern Corps #21 & 22 featuring your man John Stewart and some insanely dope art by top-notch veteran illustrator Bernard Chang!

Batwing's getting white girls in trouble again...

I have no idea what's going on in Batwing... I wish I did. But anyways, you should read this preview anyways...

Cyborg looks SUPER ILL on the cover of Justice League #18

Cyborg's on the cover to Justice League #18, so I couldn't resist snatching this preview and and dropping it here. While we're talking black superheroes, New 52 versions of Black Lightning and Vixen appear in this issue. Plus, I will not rant about the Blue Devil redesign. Not even a little bit.

PREVIEW- Green Lantern Corps #18 by Peter Tomasi, ChrisCross and Scott Hanna

Green Lantern Corps #18
I'm not reading Green Lantern Corps, and haven't been reading it since the Sinestro Corps War storyline played the straw that broke my camelback for multibook crossovers. Still, I like the GL Corps in theory, and putting John Stewart on the cover will at least get me to look at (and probably post) a preview...

In stores today: Green Lantern #16

I haven't been reading the new Green Lantern book starring Simon Baz, so I can't speak much to the character the story leading up to Green Lantern #16, but I really enjoyed this preview.

In stores now- GREEN LANTERN #15

People keep asking me what I think of the new Green Lantern Simon Baz. The short answer is I don't. Doug Mahnke's art is dope, though...

In stores NOW- "BATWING #15"

Wow... this comic's on issue 15 already? I can honestly say I have never even seen this comic in the store. Not saying it isn't there, just that I've never seen it. I don't read any other Batman comics, so maybe I unconsciously skip the "Bat" section? Anyways, I snagged this preview of Batwing #15 for you...

Preview- Green Lantern #13

I wish I could say I had a good feeling about the new Green Lantern Simon Baz, but I don't. And yes, I'm still irked by the skinny iteration of Amanda Waller. Still, this preview of Green Lantern #13 by Geoff Johns and Doug Mahnke is free, so I won't complain too much...

PREVIEW- Voodoo #0

I have heard both bad and good reports about Voodoo, and I haven't read it to say who's right. All I can say is the previews look great and hint at an interesting storyline...

In Stores now- "Dial H for Hero" #0

I used to cut for Dial H for Hero when I was a kid for lots of reasons I won't get into unless you badger me in the comments. Suffice to say that I have read many incarnations of Dial H whenever DC would revive it I haven't read the reboot version, since I can't afford to really follow mainstream books anymore. But who cares about me? Here's a preview...

HOLY CRAP! That WolfSmoke "Bat Man of Shanghai" joint is HARD!

I haven't watched television in months. Not bragging or anything, but I don't think I've seen anything everyone's bugging over since before the Olympics... but this DC Nation Bat Man of Shang Hai short is on YouTube now, so there you go...
