It's a computer product they sell to school districts and similar clients designed to help kids who are reading below their grade level.

if the client changes their minds and decides to print them, I'll let y'all know!Samaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17390821139505287622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21882383.post-41665285131982191432010-04-20T19:43:35.079-05:002010-04-20T19:43:35.079-05:00I always mean to ask you whenever you post of thes...I always mean to ask you whenever you post of these pages...when is this coming out?EzekielRawlinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21882383.post-66715822313361197872010-04-19T07:11:11.672-05:002010-04-19T07:11:11.672-05:00knowing nothing at all about surfing, I will point...knowing nothing at all about surfing, I will point out that the board being long was in the script.
:D
you're right of course about the second panel. my original intent was to have a Silver Surfer poster on the wall, with Herman aping the Surfer's pose. But all the reference I could find was really lame, and I wasn't interested in drawing an original Surfer image.

I may add some speed lines or something when I letter the page, but for the most part, this is it.

I appreciate your comments. These pages are so much stronger than the previous books I've done for the client, and I'm happy to continue to try and improve for future comics!Samaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17390821139505287622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21882383.post-75383574583326027632010-04-19T06:58:25.322-05:002010-04-19T06:58:25.322-05:00Hmm. The second panel, though, seems to need more of a background. The big, empty space in the upper left diminishes the Herman's really great energetic pose lust a little bit.

(his pose looks a little like a 'shooter' on an aircraft carrier:) )Arkonbeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11056581569235023216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21882383.post-40089649938729397742010-04-18T08:56:34.510-05:002010-04-18T08:56:34.510-05:00I dig it :)
