Okay, in case you somehow missed it, here's the complete basting of Tyler Perry they conducted over on The Boondocks.
... Besides parodying Perry's plays and movies, this episode takes slick aim on prominent homophobia in hip hop culture. And what better way to do that, than with a couple Rocky Horror musical numbers? Dope!
holla!
I watched that. That was hard. Love the Rocky Horror Picture Show references and Riley tearing up when he thanked Grand Dad for saying "no Homo". Glad that they didn't pull any punches with this. Boondocks rocks!
This episode was the second greatest ever! Only one better was the MLK episode.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yeah, that MLK joint was HOT FIRE!!!

ReplyDeleteI agree. A very sharp critique of Tyler Perry. I'm sure the black community split in half over it! lol!
ReplyDeleteI had to watch it twice to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing.
