I didn't really pay attention to CHEW when it first came out, but once I got to read a couple previews, I went out and bought CHEW Volume 1: Taster's Choice. Since then, I have been loyally purchasing the CHEW trade paperbacks. The fear that the series would eventually jump the shark is just paranoia though... I recently purchased and read CHEW Volume 4: Flambe, and the award-winning team of John Layman and Rob Guillory are still killing it! Click here for more (p)reviews!
holla!
samax.
I'm so not looking at this!
ReplyDeleteGah! I haven't gotten any Chew since International Flavor!
Verification word is Squalito: A very down-market town in Eastern LA County.
LOL! I think I used to live in Squalito, TX! It means "A small amount of poverty"
ReplyDeleteI knew you wouldn't look at the preview... but you need to get caught up! It's solid reading...
I've read all of them up to date and i can't get enough! I like that Chew's sister and Daughter have variations of the same power. and does anybody no that the fat agent has some kind of power too? Also i like the little tidbits all thru the background of each page. It takes me a good while just to finish one page because of all the goodies they have draw on it. lol
ReplyDeleteYeah, Chew is the shit. I try to turn everyone on to it. A really unique book!
