PREVIEW- Halloween Eve by Brandon Montclare and Amy Reeder

Halloween Eve is finally upon us! And I've got a preview with immaculate artwork by Amy Reeder and slick talk from Brandon Montclare to prove it...
Here's the Sales pitch:

Eve has an imagination that's more than active - it can be downright dangerous! Working late at the costume super-store Halloween Land, she gets lost in her own thoughts until something goes bump in the night. The rubber masks and plastic novelties are coming to life, and Eve must face ghosts, goblins, and gorilla suits made real.
High fantasy and heartbreak in an oversized holiday one-shot by BRANDON MONTCLARE (Fear Itself: Fearsome Four) and Eisner Award nominee AMY REEDER (Batwoman, Madame Xanadu).

What do you think of the experimentation on this page?
I can't wait to get my hands on this one! Halloween Eve is a one-shot (successfully crowd-funded by Kickstarter, no less), but Montclare and Reeder have said that if this does well enough, they are eager to crank out more stories with Eve and the gang! So get out there and look for it in stores October 10th!

  1. I think it looks awesome!

Eve's face on the cover reminds me of one of the Old-School Heavy Metal artists...Manara, maybe? Anyways, nice to see clean lines & good coloring.

This is going on the wish list.

  2. Yeah! Amy Reeder's work is immaculate! I had not made the Heavy Metal connection, but that's an interesting one!

I backed this book on Kickstarter, and my book is in the mail... can't wait!

Thanks for reading and for your comment!
