Maybe it's because I've had my head down trying to make deadlines, but I had no idea about Urbance -the hip hop cartoon by Joel Dos Reis Viegas that takes the battle of the sexes to a whole new level- Until @Jenny_Hanniver pointed me to this trailer on Twitter...
Project TV series by Steambot Studios
Directed by Joel Dos Reis Viegas
"In a world torn by gender wars, Lesya and Kenzell must learn to unite and defy all the rules in order to expose the truth."
In the futuristic urban sprawl Viegas and the other geniuses at Steambot imagine, a sexually transmitted virus has lead to the outlawing of sexual activity and segregation of the sexes. Of course, without sex, the world goes nuts... Kept apart in separate neighborhoods, boys and girls form gangs that battle in the streets and underground dance clubs.
Like I said, this is my first time hearing about this, and I'm already down for whatever. I'll give you guys more news as I get it, but you can follow Urbance on Facebook and peep the website for character bios and stuff.
peace...
-samax.

I like this story plot... we'll see how they handle such a serious and relevant topic. It'll determine if the writers are as slick as the artists.
