Music to Draw to: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF DANKOSAURUS REX by Oneofus

Hip hop beat tapes are perfect background noise for drawing.  For me they are anyways.  So I been up all morning drawing comics and bumping The Life and Times of Dankosaurus Rex by Dallas producer Oneofus, with faux dinosaur interview by Oldschool Poindexter at the end of side A...

I periodically looked at the dope ass cover art by my dude Josh Boulet, but Dankosaurus really works as mood music for drawing.  Chopped up soul music vocals, scratching, and newsreel-y samples that bumps without being too distracting. I recommend it for all the artists out there, to add variety to your studio's soundscape library, and for other hip hopers who need some mood musicCLICK HERE to cop it on some name your price isht, or cop one of the Dankosaurus tees for cheap.

If  you plan to be in Dallas on Friday July 22nd, you ought'a check out HALT+CATCH.FIRE A Waxtooth Records Album Release Party, where the label officially celebrates Dankosaurus, as well as Exotik Toolz by venerated hip hop deejay Priest TD.

Have great day!

Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
