Oeming is DESTROYING the art on CAVE CARSON!

DC's handed the keys to some lesser characters to Gerard Way for his Young Animal label of books, and he is making some damn good comics.  My favorite is the incredible Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye with incredible cartoon art by the mighty Mike Oeming (Powers, Mice Templar, Hammer of the Gods).
Here's the sales pitch:
The end of the beginning is here! Cave Carson and company must battle through hordes of Fungus Beasts to prevent EBX from awakening the ancient being known as the Whisperer. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, how can a spelunker, a vigilante and a college sophomore defeat an ancient evil? Don’t worry, because Cave Carson has a plan! Whether it’s a good plan remains to be seen…

Besides some crazy wonky writing from Way and Jon Rivera, and the aforementioned brilliance of Oeming's visuals, colorist Nick Filardi has the game on padlock!  He benefitted from nice colors on Powers and Mice Templar, but Filardi is on some next shit.  He is really bring the right nuance to what makes Oeming special.  Each page is a joy to look at for a toon head like me.

Anyways, the whole team on this book is bonkers.  Cave Carson Has a Cybernetic Eye #6 is in stores now.

Have great day!
