#FanArtFriday Jean Grey by Samax Amen

I actually got several requests for Jean Grey as this week's Fan Art Friday drawing.  Word?  Go figure.  I give the people what they want. So I drew this piece on 8.5 x 11 cardstock paper with a Fabre-Castle Brush marker and a .05 Micron.   You can buy it for just $25 (includes domestic shipping) by clicking on the yellow Add to Cart button below. I grew up on the X-Men, but I was never a very loyal fan of Jean Grey.  Because of the time I got into X-Men, Jean existed only to be the chrysalis for the Phoenix Force, infamous throughout the universe as the majestic, murderous Dark Phoenix.  I got into the character when she came back from the dead for the first X-Factor series.  Over the years, Jean has died and came back (or seemed to) enough that I couldn't sustain interest in her.  

That said, I generally fall in love with characters that I draw, and I could definitely enjoy drawing Jean if the story was good...
