The NIOBE: SHE IS LIFE hardcover and NIOBE: SHE IS DEATH #1 came in the mail

My copy of the NIOBE: SHE IS LIFE hardcover and the first issue of the sequel series  NIOBE: SHE IS DEATH came in the mail yesterday, rewards for backing Stranger Comics' campaign for Niobe: She is Death #1 on Kickstarter. 

The large book has an elegant glossy black cover (seen above) with Niobe's eyes piercing through and the book's logo in a beautiful metallic green ink.

 The cover is protected by a double sided glossy poster/book cover that features a painting of Niobe (above) and Hareth on one side.  This side is visible as it is wrapped around the book.  The other side shows the image from this Lithograph by Taek Nam.

Hareth ain't for no playin'...

 This image from the inside front cover and first page is the same as the poster/wraparound book cover.

Here's an interior spread, showing the sublime cartoon style mastery of Ashley Woods.  So good! 
About the Niobe: She is Life Hardcover

Niobe, the child of prophecy first introduced in The Untamed, is on the run both from her destiny and those who would see it unfulfilled. She finds shelter among her mother’s people, but when a boy is murdered it sets off a series of events that will lead to war..

These oversized hardcovers are 224 pages, adding an extra 96 pages of bonus material to what’s in the paperback and including a never before published 52 back up story.
