Throwing references to StarJammers and The Last Dragon on top of a Gza sample is not pandering to my tastes, it's par for the course for Venomous, who mastered true-school nerdcore hip hop years ago. Like its predecessor, SotGO2 is produced exclusively by Serbian producer Trilian, one of the legitimately dope boom bap beatmakers working today. He's a particularly good choice for Venomous, so it's good to see that Jersey-Serbia connect again. Sounds of the Great Ones 2 is a must-cop for fans of real emceeing and traditional boom bap production. Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist.
