Underground hip hop duo Mars ILL drops new single!

Yesterday, one of my favorite rap acts of all time that you probably never heard of (the "he's the deejay, I'm the rapper" duo MARS ILL) dropped their first new track in 16 years!

The sales pitch:
Mars iLL is back with their new song “Win When”. Kick off the new decade right and listen at song.link/us/i/1493834512

Since I don't do Spotify, I ran up on it via YouTube, but you know how it goes.

If this is your first time hearing MARS ILL, you are in luck because there is a ton of music out there from.  If you like Win When, you will love their previous albums.  Like better known rap luminaries Redman or Gangstarr, Manchild and Dust are nothing if not consistently dope.

Win When seems to pick up right where their last album Pro Pain left off.

I'm not sure if this means there will be a new Mars ILL album dropping anytime soon (Manchild is apparently finishing up a solo album Red Bird Day), but I am definitely happy to take this gift and run until I hear different.

By the way, if I find out about a new Mars Ill joint, I'll let you know.
