"How To Make A Jail House Tamale" a One Page Comic by Justus Jones, Eric M. Esquivel and

Here's a one-page comic I drew and lettered recently for a client (more info about that below).

As you may know, I am VERY empathetic to the struggles of incarcerated people and their loved ones.  Even if they did something wrong, the rest of us should demand that their human rights be respected.

And research shows that hundreds of thousands of incarcerated people are not guilty.

Since January of 2020, GhettoManga has been donating 10% of revenue to The
Innocence Project, a nonprofit that uses DNA evidence to exonerate wrongly-convicted persons and get them out of prison.

A huge thank you to AIYN, Justus and Eric for helping me on my mission by letting me help them on theirs.

peace.

Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like FREELANCER LIFE, Herman Heed, Champion of Children, and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.

Samax Amen is proud to present his new book #FreelancingFAIL, a series of articles, comic strips, and illustrations about the common mindsets and habits that hold artists, writers, and other freelancers back.  More importantly, in this 70+ page e-book, Samax shows you how to overcome them and thrive!
