PREVIEW-STARBORN by Stan Lee, Chris Roberson and Khary Randolph

For the record, the first issue of Stan Lee's sci-fi comic Starborn  was dope. If this 11 page preview is any indication (doesn't it have to be?) then #2 is gonna push the bar into the red...

Here's the Sales Pitch:
Benjamin Warner is on the run! His entire world turns upside down as he fights to escape dangerous alien predators, but his greatest struggle is coming to terms with the biggest revelation of his life…Benjamin is actually an alien prince! Don’t miss out as Stan Lee makes comic book history…again!

The creative team effectively taps into the audience's shared feelings of alienation and emptiness (in the same way the writers did in The Matrix) in the first issue of Starborn, and from this preview, it looks like they are carrying it into the rest of the series. The boundaries between Benjamin's imagination and reality are bleeding together thanks to some masterful scripting by Chris Roberson (iZOMBIE, CINDERELLA: FROM FABLETOWN WITH LOVE) , and Khary (like Atari) Randolph (Khary Randolph: The Black Book,ADVENTURES OF SPAWN) is smashing the art on this book. Mitch Gerads is also doing a commendable job on the colors. I don't often comment on coloring, but this dude is really pulling his weight! Anyways, I'm not sure about the release date on this, but I'll update this when I find out!

holla!
