DAMION SCOTT takes over art chores on ALL NEW GHOST RIDER!! (((airhorn)))

I had no idea that Damion Scott and Robert Campanella were the new art team on ALL NEW GHOST RIDER but it looks like they did. Last month's cover (above) was done by series co-creator Tradd Moore, but check out the interiors to this and the new issue below, by Scott and Campanella.

You never know how fans will react to a new artist, but I personally love Damion Scott's black book steelo. As usual, Felipe Smith is still holding it down quite nicely on the script, and Robbie Reyes continues to be an interesting iteration of the all too human hero that is Marvel Comics' stock and trade. Damion Scott and Campanella don't bring the same sharp and angular lines embodied in Tradd Moore's work, but I hope readers can appreciate the energy in this new art team.

Anyways, I'm always happy to see Damion Scott surface, and Ghost Rider strikes me as a good place for his work. All New Ghost Rider #6 is in stores now, and #7 comes out September 24th. All-New Ghost Rider: Engines of Vengeance, which collects the Robbie Reyes' debut arc by Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore, drops mid October.

Samax Amen draws people, places and things for fun and profit. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
