(N)RAce Card

Gun control (like any other "political issue" in the United States) is all about that c.r.e.a.m.

The vast majority of NRA members support universal background and controls on the purchase military grade weapons, but it doesn't matter.  The NRA's leadership uses the membership numbers (and members' silence) to convince legislators that they all oppose any actions, no matter how much agreement there is, to control the trafficking of guns in America.  So by using paranoia to mobilize a vocal few of their members, and the discount-card-bartered silence of the rest, the NRA's war on common sense proceeds as normal no matter how many kids get shot up (in ghettos or suburban schools).

These kids are up in arms (pun intended), and I hope they can get some results.  Not holding my breath, though.

Peace to the mighty Keith Knight whose cartoon got me started.  CLICK HERE to support his independent periodical comics practice via Patreon.
