At the tail end of STAPLE as we were packing up, Yehudi Mercado ran up on me and gave me free copies of volumes 1 and 2 of his graphic novel series Buffalo Speedway. Before I could finish stumbling through my attempt to thank him, he was gone.

After all, what makes you feel better about how much of a screw up you are than pointing at someone else who is out there effing up royally? I hate to disappoint you, but the new track Eddie Long doesn't have any gay jokes in it, just well- constructed- yet- conversational rhymes in the broadcast baritone we've come to expect from the mighty Bavu Blakes.

I was disappointed by Rhymefest's last album El Che, but I still consider myself a fan. I was intrigued when he decided to run for Alderman in Chicago. As expected, his opponents are using his rhymes against him like the hip hop police... Kanye and Lupe Fiasco have came out publicly in support of his campaign, also as expected.
Anyways Che spoke to the fine folks at Conspiracy Worldwide Radio about his aspirations for the community, and his meeting with UK Prime Minister, David Cameron.
