according to his publicist, actor Patrick Swayze (Dirty Dancing, Roadhouse, Ghost) died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57. "Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," according to the press release. Swayze was one of those actors who held a charm and presence on par with the likes of character actors Michael Keaton and Kurt Russell. He didn't command double digit millions, but he added character to any scene he was in. He will be missed.
yeah. he definitely earned my respect. a solid actor, not just a movie star.
