... Hey fam, Sometimes I get people saying that they have a calling to do something, but being timid about making it happen. I understand that the world doesn't always step up to support your calling, but the world definitely needs it.  I understand the uphill battle of it all, but the world needs you to be your authentic self. Whether the world supports your mission or not, you have a responsibility to make it work somehow.  A calling is a mandate, not a suggestion. As an artist, I get a lot of pushback about what is appropriate or not for me to pursue in terms of making money.  I believe anyone who chooses to ignore a calling on their life is not only diminishing their own quality of life, but holding back the expansion and quality of the human experience writ large. God intends for us to follow our callings.  That is what they are there for.
