Although it has been out for at least a week, Mississippi monster/mogul David Banner dropped the video for Magnolia on his YouTube channel today, and I just watched it a few times before posting it here for you...

Good stuff! I never got around to writing a proper review of Banner's album The God Box, but it was my favorite album of 2017. In an age of endless mixtapes and extended freestyles, not only did Banner release a gourmet banquet of danceable black revolutionary music... Banner built a cultural movement around it that includes gallery shows and speaking engagements. As you can see, he also went all in on the videos. Rappers are always talking about making classic records, but having watched the pretzels Banner twisted himself into making this album, I believe him when he says he wanted to make history with it.
