It was 2014.
For whatever reason, that dude Profound slid me a link for a tag-team rap jam he was on called ERYWHERE. The other emcee was Griffen.
I had never heard of Griffen before, but he was mustard.

As I watched the video for Erything, Griff's charismatic delivery, graphic tees and unexpected laugh-out-loud punchlines won me all the way over.
Searching for more of his stuff on YouTube only made it worse (better?).
He was the total package.
Smart. Angry. Charismatic. Hilarious. Menacing.
I subscribed to his music on Bandcamp, where he has been flooding me with more music than I can consume.
Anyways... He got a new album out!
I'm listening to it now... You should too. Conscious gangster wordsmithery incoming...
