The New WandaVision trailer, and My Hopes for the Upcoming Disney+ Show

Although I haven't been all that enthused about the post-Thanos MCU news and gossip that has been leaking during the pandemic, I am fully onboard for the upcoming Disney+ exclusive WandaVision

Check out this new WandaVision trailer:

UMBRELLA ACADEMY Season 2 Trailer

I got around to watching the trailer for Umbrella Academy Season 2 today, and I figured you'd want to see it, if you haven't already.

Michonne Departs THE WALKING DEAD after Season 10

According to the fine folks at ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, everybody's favorite dreadlocked badass zombie-smashing ronin Michonne will only appear in a few episodes of The Walking Dead's tenth season this fall, as actress Danai Gurira's career enters its next stage...

(Umbrella Academy + Movie) x (Mary J Blige + Time Traveling Assassin) = Yes #DoTheMath

Everyone is shedding crocodile tears about the not-so-sanctimonious end of the Netflix wing of the Marvel Universe.  Meanwhile, Netflix is doing what they need to do.  Namely scraping the lesser comix universes for intellectual property gold...

"There's a lot of guilt in the air..." -RANDOM ACTS OF FLYNESS creator Terence Nance, on the wave of inclusiveness in Hollywood

Random Acts of Flyness looks like my type of hype.  Even if you don't plan on checking for it, you should probably watch this interview of series creator Terence Nance by Audie Cornish.

No Defenders Season 2? NO PROBLEM! Do THIS instead!

So, I learned today from our friends at MCU Exchange that there are no plans for a second season of Defenders on Netflix.  Good!  I got a BETTER idea...

Gabriel Luna + Felipe Smith talk Ghost Rider

Felipe Smith is one of our favorite creators, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is my favorite superhero tv show, so I enjoyed this brief featurette featuring Felipe and Gabriel Luna, who brought Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider to life (Felipe in the All-New Ghost Rider, and Luna in AoS), talking about their histories with the character and the new Sideshow Collectibles Ghost Rider figure.

Chibi Celina reviewed DEFENDERS so I don't have to...

So I binge-watched Marvel's DEFENDERS on Netflix right away when it came out, but I still haven't gotten around to writing about it.  My indie cartoonist buddy Celina Hernandez dropped this brief chibi-powered review because that's how she rolls, and I posted it here, cuz that's how I roll!

A few words about the CLOAK & DAGGER trailer

This is a drawing I did of the street-dwelling vigilante duo Cloak & Dagger for a client, just so you can feel the love I have for the characters.  So now that you know that I rides for Tyrone and Tandy, watch this trailer Marvel dropped last week...

HOLY CRAP!!! This cartoon looks HARD!

Maybe it's because I've had my head down trying to make deadlines, but I had no idea about Urbance -the hip hop cartoon by Joel Dos Reis Viegas that takes the battle of the sexes to a whole new level- Until pointed me to this trailer on Twitter...

PREVIEW- The Walking Dead: Michonne Special

The undisputed champeen of creator-owned cash cows in comics, The Walking Dead is dropping this little treat for all you fans of the mighty Michonne, with this fresh one-shot.

Jim Mahfood on G4's AOTS + Food's new "LA Ink Stains" TPB & Liquid Television teaser video.

Peep your manz Jim Mahfood aka FOOD ONE on G4's Attack of the Show, then feast your eyes on some pages of his webcomic- turned- autobio- trade paperback Los Angeles Ink Stains. You can also get a peek at concept art for his upcoming Liquid Television show Disco Destroyer. I should'a made 3 separate posts about all this, but I got shit to do. You're welcome.

for those who Love to Hate reality tv

I just read a brief discussion of Jennifer L. Pozner's new book Reality Bites Back: The Troubling Truth about Guilty Pleasure TVon Racialicious, and really enjoyed it. At first, I thought the book would be marketed to me, since I'm not a fan (at all) of reality tv, but after reading the review, I suspect it's probably aimed at my wife, who enjoys nothing better than watching reality tv shows and complaining about them.
