PREVIEW- "Terminator/Robocop: Kill Human" TPB

Full Disclosure: I'm a huge fan of Walt Simonson, so I decided to post this preview of the Terminator/Robocop: Kill Human trade way before I saw that he only drew the cover... but since I figured this book would probably reenforce my robophobic beliefs, I decided it was only right...

PREVIEW- Robocop: Road Trip

Long-time GhettoManga readers know I'm pretty robophobic. However, since he's half-machine, half-man and all cop, Robocop is cool with me. Peep these previews from the first two issues of Officer Murphy's new mini, Robocop: Road Trip...

Preview the new Robocop Comic

The fine folks over at CBR have blessed us with a 7 page preview of Robocop #1! click the pic to roll  out to old Detroit as the action movie classic returns to comics.
here's the Sales pitch.
Dynamite Entertainment proudly presents the dynamic debut of Robocop by writer Rob (Classwar) Williams and artist Fabiano (MARVEL ZOMBIES VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS) Neves! Under two awesome covers - one by the sensational Stephen Segovia and the other by Dynamite's newest artistic sensation (and the pupil of artist David Finch) Johnny D! - Dynamite goes back to basics as it unveils the dystopian, deeply satirical, and all-out violent world of Robocop.

This is ROBOCOP meets the conspiracy theory mystery of ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, following on from Paul Verhoeven's original by mixing high action, extreme violence and satire. Plus: the return of ED-209!
Sounds pretty tight... Robocop #1 will be available in stores January 27th. While you wait, get in that Old Detroit state of mind with the the movies! I don't remember watching the third Robocop, but the first two parts are mustard! To cop the whole trilogy on Amazon.com, click here.

The Reason I Wanted to See Robocop

Deathlok is one of those characters that Marvel keeps bringing back. and i suggest they keep doing it until they get it right. and yeah, he was invented way before Robocop. anyways, click the pic for a preview of Deathlok: The Demolisher #1 here's the Sales Pitch:
Marvel's ultimate cyborg is back in this 7-issue Marvel Knights limited series written by Charlie Huston (MOON KNIGHT) and breathtakingly illustrated by Lan Medina (FOOLKILLER). In the not-too-distant future, war is a spectator sport, warriors die hard and live fast, and living larger than anyone is super-soldier Lieutenant Mike Travers. That is, until Travers hotdogs it on the battlefield and gets himself and his C.O., Luther Manning, blown to bits. The show must go on. Enter: Deathlok the Demolisher!!!

Robocop last year was the shot!

nah, this is not another of my pleas to get Chubb Rock into the Rock n Roll hall of fame, this is about the CNN report on the next step to futuristic tech like what we see in games like Halo and movies like ghettoManga faves Aliens, Terminator and of course, Robocop.
