Galaxy Rangers Episodes on YouTube

My longtime friends, readers, and fans know that when I was in middle school, one of my favorite cartoons was the space western Galaxy Rangers.

#KickstartTHIS THE CROSSING from 133Art

I've been looking at teaser content for the new dimension-hopping sci-fi thriller THE CROSSING for months, so I am excited to let you know that it's live on Kickstarter right now!  Feast your eyes on these preview pages below

Former Image sci-fi wet dream VESCELL is on WEBTOONS!

As we're closing in on the end of this decade, one of illest comics of the last ten years just became available to read online.

I'm talm'bout VESCELL, the urban sci-fantasy mind-bender by Enrique Carrion and John Upchurch.

Here's some preview pages I copped from a post I wrote in 2012:

#FanArtFriday I drew Corsair (for those who missed it)

I made a digital drawing of obscure X-Men character and best absentee dad ever Corsair of the space-pirate crew Starjammers.  It's all Venomous2000's fault.

SKYWARD looks dope...

Look up in the sky!  It's a bird!  It's a plane!  It's... pretty much everybody.  Here's some sample pages from the first couple issues of Skyward.

#KickstartTHIS- FIGHT OF THE CENTURY a Mixed Martial Arts Sci-fi Graphic Novel

You already know we are fired up for the MMA comic Fight of the Century, the tooth-rattling brainchild of action-junkies Nick and Troy-Jeffrey Allen (BAMN).  So now that their Kickstarter is live, let's just jump into this preview art...

This episode of #KickstartTHIS has something for everybody!

So I get hit with a TON of Kickstarter campaigns and I generally don't get time to individually address each one.  That sucks, because I started GhettoManga to help get the word out about awesome independent projects.  So now I am rolling out #KickstartTHIS as a recurring feature here on GhettoManga, so that I can hip you to great projects you can back.  So let's dive into it!

OH SNAP! New NUMBER13 in the works?!?

So you know I'm already geeking on Robert Love from the new Dark Horse project Children of the Plague he's been teasing about. Now I'm bugging about this new Number13 page he leaked on Facebook this week!

Wanna see some unlettered art from DEATHLOK #1? OF COURSE YOU DO!

Glad to see Marvel bringing back Deathlok. I mean, Marvel and DC are stuck in the nineties like my generations' musical tastes, so I say we are due for some new Deathlok joints...

LARRY STROMAN SIGHTING!!! - Peep ALIEN LEGION: UNCIVIL WAR #3

Y'all know I cuts for Larry Stroman from his work on X-Factor for Marvel Comics and his creator-owned book TRIBE back in the nineties. Hence, I am honor-bound to post this preview from this revival of the sci-fi action comic Alien Legion: Uncivil War he's working on with Chuck Dixon and Carl Potts...

Looks like John Stewart was born again HARD in GREEN LANTERN CORPS: FUTURE'S END #1

So apparently the DC Universe is going through a cataclysmic war or something, and time-traveling is involved... NO WAIT! STAY WITH ME NOW! Yeah, I don't know... But I like John Stewart. So there's that. Look, just check out this preview of Green Lantern Corps: Future's End #1...

#KickstartThis dope science hero action comic "STRONGHOLD: HOPE IS NOT YET LOST"

I get a lot of "help me spread the word about my Kickstarter campaign" emails. A LOT of them! Even though many of them are very cool, I don't have time to post about them here, so a facebook drop or Tweet is about all the help I can muster. However, STRONGHOLD by Kevin Roberts and Brian Visaggio is SO dope that I just HAD to post a preview here on GhettoManga...

Preview a couple more of Dynamite's "JOHN CARTER, WARLORD OF MARS" comics in stores today

Obviously, Dynamite Entertainment has more sense than Walt Disney Pictures. Disney gave their 2012 adaptation of A Princess of Mars the lack-luster title John Carter, while Dynamite gives their comics exploring the Barsoom series of novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs titles like Warlord of Mars and Dejah Thoris and the Green Men of Mars. You know, titles that might actually make one want to check them out...
