BLACK PANTHER VS JUSTICE LEAGUE!!! Wait... not really...

Yes, I clicked on this cover that has an obvious Black Panther knock-off ripping the techno-jugular out off'a the highest-ranking African-American superhero in the DC Universe fully prepared to talk about how pop-culture stays pitting black Americans against our African counterparts, but I was clearly getting ahead of myself, because Justice League's scribe PRIEST helped make BLACK PANTHER the phenom he is in the first place.  Let's jump back and preview the previous issue, then see if it helps us contextualize this one.

Hey! I didn't know @SonnyLiew was drawing @DCcomics' new DR. FATE series!

I always loved DC's pseudo-Egyptian master mage Dr. Fate.  I also enjoy Sonny Liew's art. So I was pleasantly surprised to see Sonny's art on the Lord of Order's new Dr. Fate series, written by Paul Levitz!

Looks like John Stewart was born again HARD in GREEN LANTERN CORPS: FUTURE'S END #1

So apparently the DC Universe is going through a cataclysmic war or something, and time-traveling is involved... NO WAIT! STAY WITH ME NOW! Yeah, I don't know... But I like John Stewart. So there's that. Look, just check out this preview of Green Lantern Corps: Future's End #1...
