PREVIEW: Blade: Curse of the Mutants One-Shot

I Just spotted this dope preview on CBR... apparently, Marvel has a new X-men crossover going on, where vampires are running up on the world/s remaining mutants? I wouldn't care, but the resultant fallout is this ILL looking Blade One-shot. here's the sales pitch:
Someone… something… is killing vampire slayers all over the world. Blade, the biggest, baddest slayer of them all, gathers an emergency assault team to blitz the bloodsucker underground and force answers out of whoever’s not reduced to a pile of smoking ash. But Blade’s not going to like what he hears. A new dawn is rising for the vampire nation. The rules are about to be rewritten, and Blade’s about to go to fang-to-fang with a new threat he knows he can’t fight alone…
sounds tight, huh? peep the preview below...

PREVIEW: ULTIMATE BLADE vs AVENGERS

I'm not exactly sure why Marvel has such a hard time with Blade. Seems to me, all they need to do is make people watch the trio of films headlined by the Wu-tang-inspired Wesley Snipes (although that last one makes me dry heave, but I won't go there...) and copy what they see. Easy. Whatever the case, perhaps they will finally get it right THIS time, as they're taking another go at it with the 6 part story arc Blade Versus The Avengers over on Ultimate Avengers 3... but I'm not holding my breath.

Black Superheroes featured in Art Exhibit

Peep this youTube video feature on Marvelous Color, an art exhibit at the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute featuring Marvel's most prominent black superheroes (Storm, Falcon, Black Panther, Blade, War Machine, and Luke Cage). this video has short interviews with Eric Battle and ChrisCross about their participation in the exhibit.
Marvelous Color starts with the New York show, which is associate-produced by Shady Records exec Riggs Morales. It will be up until February 26th, when it will move on to other locations. I just had a run-in with BLADE!!

what's up daywalkers? i been up all night drawing! in addition to my freelance comics gig (pages soon come) i knocked out another commission. this time, it's Blade for my internet homey JR Lemar! we got into a conversation on Facebook that had me ready to submit a treatment to Marvel. this character was nailed in movies by Producer/Star/NumberOneNegro Wesley Snipes, and hasn't ever been done nearly as well in comics. if i get a chance to do a Blade comic, i promise i'll KILL it...
anyways,
