I just got an email from that dude HeadKrack featuring a new video for his song ABRACADABRA. Krack made a little short film around it, like a Black Mirror version of Weird Science.
This is a cute little video for you if you need to liven your day by looking at a diverse herd of fly ladies. At first, I was mostly dismissive, because the voice over was not very strong. But I see a ton of potential in Abracadabra after I watched the whole thing and started to write this post.
This would make a good long-form story, like a Netflix series or (you know me) a comic book. A comic that starred a promiscuous magician who flirts with dark magic to create a beautiful dream woman already sounds like a Netflix anime series I'd watch with my girlfriend, but introducing the element of a rejected lover in the form of his long-suffering assistant, who schemes to turn his dream lover into his worst nightmare, takes the concept up a notch.
This should definitely be a comic or anime.
That said, like a lotta rappers, Krack has his sights set on acting. So I know he would be more likely to seek to turn ABRACADABRA into a live action show than a comic or anime.
I guess I could live with that.
Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
