Kickstart This- The GREAT FORCE

I just came across this Kickstarter campaign for a brand new teen superhero comic called THE GREAT FORCE, and it looks pretty cool.  Check out the preview art below.
The sales pitch:

Five high school friends; Carlos Reyes, Malcolm Cooper, Yazi Chen, Jacob Ross and Sharon Smith are enjoying a Summer night. Their lives are changed when alien orbs crash into their tree house and exposed them to quantum radiation that infects their biology.  The friends discover they have evolved with unique abilities.  It's not long before the opportunity arrives to save innocent people.  

Alien technology gave them powers, their friendship will make them heroes.
