I've been busy since I shared news with you about Gensu Dean and Wise Intelligent's upcoming collabo album G.o.D (Game of Death), and now the duo has put a foot on the gas, dropping this video for the title track on YouTube this week to help hype the album's impending release...

as usual, wise spits knowledge on some angry educated black man ish... over one'a them crazy indie rap beats. so far it seems Wise is goin' for the something for everybody style of album production, with mainstream, reggae-styled, and now indie wild-out beats all in the brew...

can't wait to hear the record, till then i'll bump the track, and you can too...

Oh NO! it's a new Record!

Props to my man BigSteelo for hippin' me to the new Oh No Record. if you didn't already know, Oh No is the li'l brother of underground heavyweight Madlib (you know, Lord Quas..? half of Madvillain..? 1/4 of Lootpack..? turn OFF your radio and go get some HipHop, son!)... anyways, like his big brother, OhNo holds the mic and controls the sounds nicely on his new plate Exodus into Unheard Rhythms which drops next tuesday on indie juggernaut Stone's Throw records.

looks like he's after the sophomore without the jinx on this one, a concept record which features hipHop bredren A.G., Posdnuos, Murs, Cali Agents, Wise Intelligent, Buckshot, K Jay, Roc C, Aloe Blacc, Wordsworth, LMNO, Vast Aire, MED, Wildchild, Dudley Perkins, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Frank N Dank, and Fergus MacRoy (whew! OhNo only rhymes on three tracks... but his guest list makes up for his absence), and Beats made exclusively from Galt MacDermot samples.

hipHop pioneer Wise Intelligent of the mighty Poor Righteous Teachers is looking to do more shows promoting the August release of his new record, Wise Intelligent is the Talented Timothy Taylor, which Wise describes as "the first period in a five CD box-set that I’m working on called, 'Back to School.' It’s what Hip-Hop is seriously lacking right now... "
