the heavily anticipated sequal to instant-classic Batman Begins will arrive in theatres next year, with Christian Bale (American Psycho, Equilibrium, The Prestige) returning as the masked spirit of revenge and justice masquerading as a billionaire playboy. Heathe Ledger (Brokeback Mountain, A Knight's Tale, 10 Things I Hate About You) will play Batman's nemesis, the Joker in The Dark Knight.while i think it's kinda early to be trotting out Batman's Arch-Enemy (why do they always bring out the arch enemy so soon?), i expect a pretty good film. as always, we'll see!
