Four words- DAN!!! LISH!!! ART!!!! BOOK!!!

If you don't know who Dan Lish is... Just kickstart his new artbook on my recommendation and thank me later...

The sales pitch:

Dan has been a Video Game Concept Artist for 20 years and worked across a broad spectrum of other entertainment mediums including comic and book illustrations, album cover art, and toy design. Most recently illustrating and designing Volume one of his first graphic novel entitled Cartigan for Akileos publishing (volume two will be in full production soon).

EgoStrip: Book 1.

This book is an exciting collection of unique portraits of Hip Hop artists from the first two years of the EgoStrip project: on a London train commute Dan chose to draw his favourite musicians in little black books, instead of screen time. Created in black fibre tip ink pen, straight to paper, while the train rocked back and forth, commuters knocking his elbow (or the other way around), embracing that little bit of chaos.

Dan Lish is a amongst THE NICEST cats with the pen and ink on God's green Earth.
