So I found out yesterday via a Facebook ad that super-producer Gensu Dean and conscious rap luminary Wise Intelligent were ganging up to drop a new album Game Of Death next month.  Check out the first single Amen, via the miracle of Bandcamp.

as usual, wise spits knowledge on some angry educated black man ish... over one'a them crazy indie rap beats. so far it seems Wise is goin' for the something for everybody style of album production, with mainstream, reggae-styled, and now indie wild-out beats all in the brew...

Props to my man BigSteelo for hippin' me to the new Oh No Record. if you didn't already know, Oh No is the li'l brother of underground heavyweight Madlib (you know, Lord Quas..? half of Madvillain..? 1/4 of Lootpack..? turn OFF your radio and go get some HipHop, son!)... anyways, like his big brother, OhNo holds the mic and controls the sounds nicely on his new plate Exodus into Unheard Rhythms which drops next tuesday on indie juggernaut Stone's Throw records.

OhNo only rhymes on three tracks... but his guest list makes up for his absence), and Beats made exclusively from Galt MacDermot samples.
