Black Superhero gets his own show on BET
so here's our first look at the new Black Panther toon BET has cookin'... you may remember i told ya'll Marvel had inked a deal to turn the first black superhero into the star of a primetime animated show on BET in 2009. Reginald Hudlin (who currently writes the Black Panther comic book for Marvel) is supervising for BET, and obviously they have chosen to stick close to the visual steelo of John Romita Jr, who penciled the initial story arc of the comic relaunch for Hudlin.
what do ya'll think?

Man they could have done better than cut out a comic and put it in After Effects of Flash.
BUDGET!
It's not bad. Considering how long Hudlin has been trying to get BET Animation off the floor. There are probably some budget concerns but the production quality looks fine to me. Although many of the Gorillaz music videos appeared better.
Yeah. The animation is good. I suppose with something like Black Panther though I demand anime respect or something.
All in due time I suppose.
we'll see. that joint didn't grab my attention like afro samauri
I think that's it. We're in the Afro Samurai/Boondocks era of "black" animation and you would think something like BET would be up on that, as a result there's higher expectations. However. I don't know the full story
I'm shocked that Marvel even put their name on this project. This has to be the worst animation ever. But, leave it to B.E.T to kill what should have been great. This is just wrong for so many reasons BOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
damn did they just flash animate "john romita jr.'s artwork"???
crazy ish!!!
Flash, After Effects, either way they stuck that joker on a timeline
Is this shit real?!? Marvel need to hire me! I could have did better animation than that!
