#FanArtFriday Jean Grey

#FanArtFriday Jean Grey by Samax Amen

I actually got several requests for Jean Grey as this week's Fan Art Friday drawing.  Word?  Go figure.  I give the people what they want. So I drew this piece on 8.5 x 11 cardstock paper with a Fabre-Castle Brush marker and a .05 Micron.   You can buy it for just $25 (includes domestic shipping) by clicking on the yellow Add to Cart button below. This drawing will be on sale all day Friday until someone buys it.  If no one buys it, I will give it away to a lucky subscriber from my email list, selected randomly this weekend.

I grew up on the X-Men, but I was never a very loyal fan of Jean Grey.  Because of the time I got into X-Men, Jean existed only to be the chrysalis for the Phoenix Force, infamous throughout the universe as the majestic, murderous Dark Phoenix.  I got into the character when she came back from the dead for the first X-Factor series.  Over the years, Jean has died and came back (or seemed to) enough that I couldn't sustain interest in her.
That said, I generally fall in love with characters that I draw, and I could definitely enjoy drawing Jean if the story was good...

Anyways, CLICK HERE to sign up for my free, customizable newsletter, and make sure to note your interest in Fan Art to be in the running for this piece, and so I can notify you of next week's Fan Art Friday piece.

So let me know what you think of this joint.  Are you a Jean Grey fan?  Also, what characters are you interested in seeing for future Fan Art Friday drawings?  Let me know in the comments below or social media!

Have great day!
