The Ebony Owl Returns...

Your special reward for making it to the weekend is this drawing of J.R. LeMar's character, the Ebony Owl that I drew this week.

The Ebony Owl by Samax Amen

This was fun to draw, fam.

My notepad and blackbook has been filling up with funnies and inspirational and self-help sketch notes lately, but I'm also pretty good at drawing superheroes and action comics, if I don't say so myself.

This weekend, I am gonna be doubling down on some action comics stuff, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more goodness in your inbox over the weekend.

Quotable...

Quitting is the Only Kind of Failure That Really Matters.

Today is a good day to pick up a project that you have abandoned (or continue working on a project you are thinking about abandoning), break it into small steps, and commit to take at least one small step every single day until it is completed.

Stop being so hard on yourself and enjoy the fruits of productivity.

Can I help?

You don't have to go it alone.

I can coach you through the process of turning your idea into an actual thing in your life.

So click here to set up a free phone or video call, and together we'll make a plan just for you.

Thanks again for reading, fam.

Talk to you later!

He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
