Preview- THE MELANITES #3

As the days remaining on the Kickstarter for THE MELANITES: SLAY DAY enters single digits, here's a first look at the fully lettered pages for the opening sequence.

The sales pitch:

The Melanites is a MATURE READERS comic book series about the emergence of a mysterious pantheon of super powered beings who take an interest in the progression of human society.  The Melanites have already had a huge impact on the world, and human authorities have fought back.  As chapter 3 opens, we see that SLAY, the self-appointed Diva of Social Media, has taken the role of judge, jury, and executioner of sexual predators that human authorities are unable (or unwilling) to bring to justice...

Now you can see why we refer to issue 3 as Slay Day.

After we see the results of Slay's rampage, we'll catch up with other Melanites 2 Lit, Rootz, and Blacc Ice, as well as introduce some new characters as the balance of power continues to shift.

All three issues can be ordered through The Melanites 1-3 SLAY DAY Kickstarter campaign, which ends October 16 at 12:01 am.

Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like FREELANCER LIFE, Herman Heed, Champion of Children, and The World As You Know It.
