Seriously though, this is dope! DOOM's label Metalface Records will be releasing the first complete & remastered version of OPERATION: DOOMSDAY, containing the original album, alternate versions, b-sides and instrumentals. Both deluxe Metal Formats (the coveted 2 CD Lunch Box Set and the Metal 4 LP set, pictured below) come with a 32-page lyric book, and set of 10 cards with images of the Operation: Doomsday emcees, and feature cover art by Jason Jägel and Jeff Jank, who also designed the art for DOOM's 2005 album MM FOOD. You can't go wrong, either way!
BONUS! sample art from 73 Funshine by Jason Jägel, just because...
I snagged these pics from the StonesThrow blog post about the 2008 release party for Jägel's 208 page artbook 73 Funshine (and the 10 inch Madlib record that comes with it). In the pic above, you see the mighty MF Grimm enjoying the book!
holla!

That is a bad ass lunch box. The art book looks great too.
yep. I want 'em both!
I can't believe he's releasing it on record as well. That's hip-hop!
I think lots of established Indies (like DOOM, Madlib, etc) still press vinyl. It depends on the market they are looking to appeal to, I guess... plus it's a limited edition joint, pro'lly!
