BLACK WIDOW Trailer Reveals the Villain

This morning I watched the final Black Widow trailer and was pleased with the villain they selected for her to face off against...

Well folks... We are finally getting a movie about Russian spy-turned-SHIELD agent-turned super hero Black Widow.  And the big bad in this movie will be the do-it-all combat savant and superthug trainer Taskmaster.

My old Taskmaster drawing
Taskmaster has the ability to perfectly duplicate the fighting style of anyone he watches, making him one of the most dangerous fighters in the world.

While he can't copy superpowers, he can duplicate any martial art that he witnesses, including the skilled use of weapons.  He has a round shield, and bow and arrows that mirror weapons Black Widow's fellow Avengers use, so it will be fun to see him bang heads with Natasha Romanov.

I have maintained for some time that Taskmaster (like his younger creative cousin Deadpool) started out as a knockoff of the DC character Deathstroke the Terminator.  As such, I am glad to see him making his big screen debut as we move into the post-Thanos (knockoff of Darkseid) era of the MCU.

But I digress...

Are y'all excited about Black Widow or nah?
