I did the inks on this last night while photoshop was tripping on me (it happens). I have already started coloring it, but will probably have to wait awhile to finish it, since I'm in deadline delivery mode on Herman Heed. To peep the pencils just click here. Anyways, hope you have a great weekend!

Nicely done. I can't put my finger on why, but I'm getting a really nice 70's vibe off of that piece. My first thought is that it's sort of Bakshi-esque, but not really.
I know that is a bit rambling, but the 70's vibe works perfectly with the character, of course.
thanks. I tried to make it look as much like the original Hero-for-Hire design as I could.
tried not to skimp on the sideburns either! For better or worse, Cage has his roots in Blaxploitation.
I think it's better than the original HFH look. It looks more contemporary to the era. I'd buy Cage comic with that style.
Of course, now I'm hoping to see an Daniel rand, Coleen Wing and a Misty Knight :)

I could painfully extend a metaphor about gardening, roots, manure and growth, but I won't.
thanks! I did an Iron Fist joint for Metrosketchual... I thought I posted it here, but a quick search reveals I didn't so I'll repost it!
