artist/animator Dave Pryor drew this moody yet fun piece The Prisoner because the challenge of drawing a maze in perspective sounded like a ton of fun to him (yeah, artists are weird), but also to make a statement about life: "Be careful of the choices you make, because right around the corner there might be a bear with a bat waiting to beat the crap out of you." wiser words were never said, brother... holla!
