Quesada's Art featured in Gallery exhibit
Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada gets his brown man on at this exhibit featuring his all-Latino Superhero team the Santerians. He's interviewed here at the Carribean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute gallery for his first solo art show with Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez of Somos Arte who is also Joe's curator. As he said in the video, the characters debuted as part of Quesada's book Daredevil: Father for Marvel comics. Joe explains here how characters like Spiderman, the Black Panther and Shang Chi interested him in Marvel at a young age because they showed more diversity (which explains why Joe relaunched Black Panther at Marvel Knights). for more info on the exhibit, go here. props to Rob at ComeBien Books who put me on to this!
